The beamer boys bought us prime plaice,Turbots,Brill small skate wings all so black gold(cuttle fish)

Morning all a good landings this morning of beautiful Brixham Plaice (which is at it’s best now), line caught Mackerel, fantastic Brill, red mullet,sardines and line caught pollock.

All landed by our day boat fleet, that is the largest in the U.K.

Morning all. Doesn’t look as though the heatwave has hit sunny Brixham yet. Very foggy looking out to sea. However, that hasn’t stopped the fishermen from landing their catches.

Today I bought fresh local skinned dogfish, fresh whiting (pout), some lovely John Dory and sustainable, really beautiful, pollock fillet to 1kg. An absolute must for your menu.

Weather is still effecting landings down here in Brixham. Three larger boats are scheduled to land for tomorrows Market. We bought some local John Dory’s, channel squid (see our specials page) and local plaice. Check back on tomorrow’s blog to see what we’ll have available.
