We have set and will monitor these objectives for improvements in environmental performance as follows:

  • We will comply at all times with all relevant legislation concerning the environment, whenever we operate
  • All environmental management systems will be externally certified environmental management systems
  • We will put in place our own standards of environmental standard where regulations do not exist. We will conduct internal environmental reviews and undertake regular performance audits
  •  We will ensure we are continually compliant with legal obligations
  •  We will assess the environmental impact risks within our business operations
  •  We will protect the natural environment in our day-to-day activities, improving where possible
  •  We will actively co-operate with the authorities on environmental protection matters
  •  We will design, implement and maintain environmental management systems commensurate with the identified impact and risk
  • We will continue to assess and manage the long-term environmental, social and economic risks and impacts of our business decisions
  •  We will develop, maintain and implement policies, procedures and management systems in order to assess and monitor on a continual basis, the environmental impact on our operations
  • We will ensure all new equipment is energy efficient and used in such a way to maintain energy efficiency
  •  We will inform all our suppliers and contractors of our environmental policies and will monitor their performance to ensure they meet our environmental objectives. We will maintain continual control over our purchasing of fresh produce to minimise wastage
  • We will always encourage our suppliers and customers to adopt best environmental practice, and ensure they fully consider the implications of their business activities. Where appropriate, we will seek their assistance to help us to achieve our environmental goals
  • We will share our environmental initiatives and environmental best practices at all times
  • We will act responsibly on all activities to prevent pollution from our operations
