Les Daniels

Les has been in the fish business since leaving the army 25 years ago. During which time he gained experience in working in all aspects of the business; from packing, filleting, delivering. Les joined Kingfisher in 1997 and now heads-up the purchasing team where his fish knowledge is invaluable

Steve Hill

Steve HillSteve left cheffing over 30 years ago when he joined a local fish business. A few years later he started his own wholesale fish business before joining Kingfisher in the early 1990s. Since then he has been instrumental in sourcing the finest quality seafood and keeping up with the ever-changing demands of our customers and is very well known in the local fishing community.

Nick Summersby

Nick started Kingfisher in 1984 when he was supplying a few local restaurants in the Torbay area. He directed the growth and expansion of Kingfisher, through to its sale to Seafood Holdings in 2008. Nick is still very much involved in the business where he retains a role as our buyer of frozen products and also assists in fresh buying.

Greg Clarke

Greg has spent the last 20 years in the fish industry having started out as a fisherman on the local trawlers. He then came ashore and worked for a number of different companies processing fish before joining Kingfisher in 1999. Greg currently splits his time between buying and selling. This way he can offer the very best market advice when speaking to the chefs.
