Black Bream is a demersal, round fish that lives in shallow, temperate saltwater in the North East Atlantic. Black Bream are commonly line caught, or occasionally mid-water or static net trawled. Black Bream tend to be most abundant from May to July, have a mild taste. An alternative species to Black Bream would be Carp.
