What is Salmon?

Atlantic salmon is one of the most commonly farmed European fish species, and has grown enormously in popularity since the industry started in the 1960s. Salmon is rich in omega 3 fatty acids. This makes it a very healthy option. It is very versatile for cooking and can be baked, grilled or poached. It is also very popular as a smoked fish.
